We spent a week there in mid-August, and it was a lovely place to relax. I'd always dreamed of living in a house by the beach, and the spacious house easily had room for the four of us, with space for as many as eight. The kitchen and bathroom are a little dated but work fine, and there's a washing machine. I wasn't keen on the steps down to the beach, which need fixing. You'll need a car, since the nearest supermarket is a ten-minute drive away. I was very happy with the location overall.

Having the beach to ourselves was such a relief after thinking about how crowded a hotel or resort might be. There were no other people around, and I even spotted a turtle. It feels peaceful and uncrowded, and there's a restroom upstairs on the second floor too. I was very satisfied with the stay.
