Secret Villas by Relapool

I booked this villa because I wanted somewhere with a pool, and it was right there as soon as I opened the door. The ceiling is high, so the room feels really open. The place was clean, and I felt comfortable staying there with children. It seems you can also arrange a BBQ; we didn't do one this time, but I'd like to book that plan next visit. It works well for families, and I can see it being nice for couples or a girls' trip too. Okinawa Churaumi was nearby, which was handy, and there's a convenience store within walking distance.

We booked this for a colleague's birthday and came away completely satisfied. Everything from the architecture and layout to the atmosphere and pool felt thoughtfully done, with a real sense of discovery as well as comfort. The villa is elegant, and we had such a high quality stay. From the room, you look straight out into nature. Waking up to birds and the sounds around us was so refreshing, almost like a wellness break where we felt close to nature. We had an unreal, luxurious day. Thank you so much.

For the quality of this vacation home, I have no real complaints, and I'd be happy to stay again. There are several similar rentals and villas around Motobu. Outside peak season, this one is good value; it's a bit expensive over Obon, but meets the demand for vacation rentals. I also appreciate that it doesn't come with the usual vacation-rental services. I liked the overall design and furnishings, the well-chosen kitchen and washing machine, and the tall white wall all around the property, which gives you privacy. It's easy to find and has straightforward access from a major road. There were a couple of issues. The frying pan had warped from heat, probably through guest use, which was inconvenient. The electric blinds were broken during our stay, so we couldn't block the sun and got reflections on the TV monitor. It also raised some security concerns at night, though the high white wall made that feel less worrying. Normally, an equipment failure like this would call for a very low rating, but we provide a similar service ourselves, so I hesitate to complain too readily. With so many bookings this time of year, a quick repair or replacement may be hard, so I won't rate it low for this. The pool is fairly small, at 4 x 3 m, and about 1.3 m deep. Be careful with small children.
