APA Hotel Kumagaya Ekimae Kita

I was glad I only had to stay one night. The hotel was extremely dusty and dated, with filthy carpets and poorly maintained fittings. There was also an odor that gave me chest pain.

The internet was terrible, so this isn't a good choice if you need a reliable connection. The hotel is old and the rooms have some maintenance problems, though they were clean. The employees were kind.

The rooms are large by Japanese standards, and the bed was comfortable. I'm six feet tall and fit lengthwise. They cleaned my room every day. The carpet in my room was kind of gross, though it sounds like they're gradually replacing it. Kumagaya Station is conveniently close, with plenty of services, restaurants, and entertainment nearby.

The staff were very professional, and breakfast was fabulous. I spent two nights here, once in a top-class suite and another time in a regular room. The suite was immaculate, with a huge bathroom, a sofa, two queen beds, two 32-inch TVs, a nice city view, and all the amenities I needed for a pleasant stay. It definitely deserves five stars. A nice hotel in the heart of Japan's hottest city, and friendly to foreign guests.
