The food at Myoko Forest Lodge was a highlight every day, full of flavor and clearly made with care. The lodge is cozy and peaceful, tucked into nature, which made it a lovely place to unwind after being out. What stood out just as much was the care from the staff. They made us feel welcome from the start and were especially kind with our two young children, turning the stay into a favorite part of the trip for them too. This was one of the best places our family has stayed. Thanks Brett & Chereyne, we can't wait to come back!

I had a brilliant six nights here, the best snow lodge I've stayed in, and I've been to plenty in Japan. Brett & Chereyne and their staff really look after you. The bedrooms, lounge and social space, and the basement drying room are all so well thought out. Highly recommend.

We've come back to Myoko Forest Lodge for a second stay because it feels so homey. The rooms are comfortable, and breakfast and dinner each night were delicious. Chereyne and Brett are always ready to help with anything. It's just outside town, but they'll gladly drive you somewhere if you don't have a car. We'll be back again.

Brett and Chereyne have made Myoko Kogan a great base for exploring its seven ski resorts. The hosts and staff are attentive, the lodge is top notch, and the food was exceptional. You don't need a car since they can drop you off. We were already thinking about booking again as soon as we'd left. We also got a huge dump of snow and bluebird days, which were the icing on the cake. One of the best places I've stayed in 54 years of travel. Thanks for the hospitality, and the Tokyo tips were great too.

Our room was roomy, spotless, and had really comfortable beds. The food was delicious, and they made a special effort to work around my dietary issues. Chereyne & Brett were wonderful hosts, with fantastic service from them and a very friendly staff. It felt like staying with family, only better. Best accommodation of our trip, and I'd definitely recommend it.
