The location is good, right on the slope, though the resort is small unless you're a beginner. Dinner in the adjacent building was good, which made the poor-quality breakfast even more disappointing. For a rate of 450usd/ 2 adults/2 kids people a night, the price feels laughable. The room was dark, the bed mediocre, and noise carried from nearby rooms, including switches, footsteps, doors, and taps. Don't expect to sleep past 6 o clock, so bring earplugs. It was by far the worst hotel of our trip, overpriced, and I couldn't recommend it.

The slopes are beautiful, with a mix of parks and little tree runs. It's a good place for families or anyone after a relaxed, worry-free day skiing and enjoying nature, especially beginners to intermediate skiers. The hotpot buffet dinner was nice, and the service was responsive and good. A great ski and hot spring destination.

The onsen was amazing, and both breakfast and dinner were good. For this price range, it's one of the best ski-in, ski-out resorts. It did get too noisy everywhere, with so many foreigners around.

We spent 4D3N at Alpen Blick and had a really good time. Since we like skiing at an easy pace, having the slopes right outside the lobby was great. The rental gear, slopes, and ski facilities were convenient and well looked after, and the service was awesome. We also looked forward to the buffets, which had a great variety and changed a little each day. They offer a shuttle from the nearest train station, and when we missed our train, staff quickly arranged another pickup even after their working hours. Really impressed with the hotel and service. We'd happily come back if we get the chance. Recommended!

Really good quality for the price. The building is clean, though the room is old and there's no elevator. It's very close to the ski area, there are lots of delicious food options, and the onsen was soothing and comfortable. Definitely try the beer too, it has a silky taste and no bitterness!
