The rooms are clean and roomy, and Akakura Kanko is only about a 10-minute walk if you’d rather skip the morning shuttle. Getting around Myoko can take transport, and the lodge offers rides between the accommodation and ski resorts, plus pick-up and drop-off at the train station. I’d plan on one resort each day. Dinner is tasty and fairly priced if you order it, and Shige-san and Yu-san even knock to let you know when it’s ready. They’re kind, polite, and thorough, and the place has that comfortable, home-like feel. It’s an affordable, cozy base that helps keep a ski trip on schedule. I’ll be back. Please stay healthy and well for a long time.。

The house feels tucked into a lovely snowy forest, even though it’s close to town. We had our two kids with us, ages 1 and 3, and the hosts made all of us feel so welcome. They even had toys for the kids. Breakfast is available, and they help guests with transport. We also loved the dinners, from simple meals to more elaborate ones. The rooms were clean and the onsen was great. Thanks for having us!

We keep coming back to Japan, and every stay here feels like being part of the family. Shige and Yusan look after us so well and make each visit a pleasure. The lifts to nearby ski fields are really handy, and we love having breakfast included and the option to order dinner. Already looking forward to next year.

Yusan and Shige make this such a friendly, fun place to stay. The Pension is warm, comfortable, and very clean, and the food is amazing. We've loved it enough to book again for next year. Japan is wonderful, and staying here among such lovely people made the trip even better. Highly recommend!

Shige and Yu-san are joyful, generous hosts who welcome everyone like family, and they make staying in Myoko feel wonderfully local. I've stayed at For You twice now and am already excited to come back next year. It's a friendly, home-style lodge, with different kinds of bedrooms, a shared lounge for hanging out, a ski drying room, and an onsen-style bath. Breakfast and dinner are available, and both are delicious.
