Dinner was the highlight: lots of tasty dishes, from sashimi and grilled fish to meat and small sides. The rice container was generously filled, and the meal service was excellent. Beer, sake, and shochu were available too. Dinner-inclusive accommodation was 7,700 yen. The inn is close to the station in Takatsuki, Nagahama City, and has a big parking lot. I could leave my motorcycle under cover. It sits among homes, and I didn't see any nearby convenience stores or supermarkets. The room and bath had the feel of an old inn. There are two baths and a shower room, but the facilities were a bit basic, around a 2-3 star level. The refrigerator is shared. The proprietress wasn't especially friendly and came across as plainspoken, though she didn't seem like a bad person.
