The shared room was only ¥3,000 per night, tax included, which is inexpensive. The guesthouse itself was one of the cleanest I’ve seen. I arrived a little after 10 p.m. and the reception area was empty, but there was a LINE QR code posted. I scanned it and sent a message, and everything was arranged for check-in the following day. I definitely recommend this place.

Simple, but really nice. With prices this low for such a central location, I’d definitely recommend it.

I only stayed one night while on a layover. The location near the city center meant there was some noise outside, but it wasn’t enough to bother me, and I had no trouble staying here. Both the room and bathroom were clean, and the security cameras made it feel fairly safe. Towels and other amenities cost extra, so bring your own or buy them there.

The convenient location is about the only thing I can praise, though I understand the price is low. The walls are thin: I heard live Okinawan folk music from a nearby venue late at night, and snoring from the adjoining dorm kept me awake even though I’d booked a private room. The receptionist seemed very businesslike and eager to get things over with. I emailed at 8:00 AM to ask about checking in around 2:40 PM and got no reply. When I showed up at 2:40 PM, there was no staff there. Even if nobody is always on site, I’d expect them to check guests’ emails. Towel rental also costs extra. I hope they improve the service and hospitality.
