Getting to YCAT takes a bit of a walk, but there are lifts along the way, so managing the luggage is still pretty easy. The hotel is also close to Yokohama station, and my room was clean. Check-in at the machines was simple, with staff nearby if you need a hand.

I was pleasantly surprised by the value. The room is small, but it was clean and seemed recently renovated, and the station and shopping mall are close by. It was mostly quiet, though I could hear a little noise from the air-con fan.

My room was laid out well for someone travelling solo, and the staff were lovely. Yokohama station is only a short walk away via the pedestrian walkway.

We came from Tokyo to Yokohama to visit Chiikawa Yaki, but got turned away because we didn't have a reservation. A foreign staff member, I think their name was “DD,” kindly helped us out, and we really appreciated it. The hotel is very close to the station, which made getting around easy. We'll definitely stay here again on our next visit to Yokohama :)

It's a good option for visiting Tokyo or getting to the airport when you're on a tight budget. The location is great, and there are different amenities on the first floor. It's kid friendly, too. The front desk staff are efficient and respectful, and greet us every time we come in or head out. Highly recommend it.
