Aobadai Forum

You don’t have to be a hotel guest to eat at the restaurant, and the lunch I had there was really tasty. It’s easy to reach and very close to Aobadai station. The music was relaxing and the atmosphere peaceful. I’d recommend the place for families with kids too.

After staying here 50 or 60 times over the years, first for business and lately for personal trips, I’ve seen the hotel change. It’s decent enough, but rates have gone up a lot while service and amenities have slipped. The old room and breakfast deal included a nice meal at the hotel restaurant. Now the only option is a set “morning” menu with a tiny salad, coffee, and toast, and I don’t think it’s worth the price. The worst issue is the internet. The Forum has the poorest connection of anywhere we’ve stayed in Japan recently. If you need internet for work and don’t have mobile access, I’d find another hotel.

It’s a decent three-star hotel, very close to the train station. I’m not sure the room and breakfast quality justify the price.

The staff were really friendly, and the train station, supermarket, and shopping center are all close by. It’s a very nice hotel.
