The free space is the best part, with gracias massage chairs, manga, free soba, and drinks. There’s also a shampoo bar where you can try shampoos made in Japan, and the staff are consistently friendly and polite. They even press the lift button when we come back. Washing machines were often available, unlike at APA hotels. A total thumbs up if you want to stay near Nagano Station.

The staff were warm, friendly, and ready to help at any hour. At 1:30am, Nagano from reception helped me wrench open a luggage lock that had been damaged by the forwarding service from Osaka. I needed my heavy winter gear for a planned 6am trip to the mountains, so I was very grateful. Anu and Amanshi were lovely and helpful too, and Amanshi felt like a friend to chat with during my stay. There are lots of thoughtful free amenities, including shampoo options, a contact lens case and solution, heating eye masks, and hair ties. On the 10th floor common area, guests can get free soba from 8PM-10PM, and sake from Nagano prefecture is available until 1am. There are massage chairs, a big manga collection, vending machines, and free coffee and soda vending machines too. The hotel is RIGHT across from Nagano station, easy for getting around, and one of the best ramen places in Nagano is downstairs, though watch out for lines 😵‍💫. I’d come back if I find myself in Nagano again 💕

From the lobby, you can pick up amenities and coffee, so there’s no need to worry about supplies. The breakfast and rest/laundry area on the 10th floor is spacious and has a view, and the massage chair is a must try. Staff were welcoming and helpful. The hotel sits directly across from the train station, with easy access to trains, buses, malls, and restaurants.

We really appreciated how caring the hotel staff were, and felt welcome throughout our stay. Our room looked over the train station, with a vast mountain range in the distance, so it felt both connected to the city and scenic. After hours of walking, the massage chairs, laundrette, and nightly so noodles in the free space on the top floor were a welcome extra. We’d definitely stay again.
