Garden Hotel Kanazawa

The room was quite old, but that was fine for a short stay. Great location and excellent breakfast.

The hotel is very close to the station and the rate is low, so it felt like a bargain. It's an old place, but clean, with plenty of amenities and a great breakfast buffet. There aren't any self-service check-in machines, so just hand your passport to the staff at the counter.

The location is excellent, only a two-minute walk from the train station, and breakfast was good. But the hotel feels dated, the mattress was uncomfortable enough that I could feel the metal springs, and the cleanliness wasn't up to standard.

The location is great, close to the station, and the place was clean despite being so near it. But the customer service was horrible. I gave the staff my name and spelled it out, and after looking for barely five seconds they decided I must have booked through a scam site, gone to the wrong hotel, or already checked in and somehow forgotten. I showed them my reservation screen, and suddenly they found it in ten seconds. They were quick to make excuses when they should have searched for more than five seconds in the first place.
