Hilton Nagasaki

The restaurant choices are great, and the breakfast was amazing. You could stay several nights without getting bored of it. The spacious room, good gym, and large bath were all welcome, too. It’s a high quality Hilton connected to the main JR station, with the city’s attractions all within reasonable reach. I’d recommend it for tourists and business travelers.

The staff were the best part, so welcoming and friendly. The hotel is right by the station and has great facilities. Our room was spacious, with all the amenities, a super comfortable bed, and excellent water pressure. The breakfast buffet was delicious with plenty of choices, and the bar had a great range of drinks and food. They also provide pajamas for your stay.

The sushi restaurant at Hilton Nagasaki went well beyond what I expected. I also really enjoyed the staff’s kindness, the location, and the view. Breakfast had local Nagasaki specialties, which I appreciated, though the bread choices were a little limited. For a 4-star hotel, it left me very satisfied.

I was very satisfied with the facilities and how clean and hygienic everything was. I used the gym, then went to the hot bath when it opened at 5:00 p.m. on February 12, 2026. But there was a serious problem with staff conduct and the service procedures. I was in the female hot bath area, ready to leave, when a male staff member suddenly opened the door and tried to come in without knocking or checking whether anyone was there. He saw me and left right away, without apologizing. That was extremely inappropriate. If the door had opened onto an open changing area with other female guests present, it could have been much worse and might even have involved the police. There were three staff members at the facility reception, including two women at the front desk. I don’t understand why female staff aren’t assigned to manage the female hot bath area, instead of male staff entering such a sensitive space so casually, especially when it wasn’t cleaning time. I sincerely hope management takes this seriously and improves staff training and internal procedures to better protect guests’ privacy and safety.
