The rooms are quiet and roomy, and the mattresses are soft while still supporting you well. That’s rare in Japan, and some of the best mattress support I’ve found. The Japanese set menu was good too, with natural ingredients. There’s plenty to do: several onsens, restaurants, free cafes, activities for kids and adults, and a beach five minutes away by bicycle. The place is great overall, though some areas are getting old. The free bicycles are especially battered and could use basic maintenance, like tightening loose parts and greasing the chain and shifter. The carpets in the rooms and corridors smell.

There are lots of activities to keep kids occupied even when the weather isn’t good, and the restaurant choices are nice. Some of the rooms and facilities look dated, but for the price that’s okay. We had a lovely short family trip and would gladly come back to Nagasaki someday.

The rooms are huge, with ocean views, and pets are allowed. Breakfast and dinner were included, and the stay was fairly priced. We could bike around for free, and Nagasaki is only a 20-minute ferry ride away. They also run a shuttle to and from Nagasaki Station. We had an amazing time at i+land and would definitely come back.

So many activities are included at no extra cost, and the place is really good value. We had a lovely stay. It’s very kid-friendly too, highly recommend.

This family-friendly resort island is an easy place to unwind and recharge. You can get there by ferry from Nagasaki or by car, and the whole island is set up to make visitors feel welcome.
