Yoshi turned what could have been a stressful night into a heartwarming honeymoon memory. We arrived after dark and got our car stuck near the entrance. Though it was late and he could have gone home, Yoshi stayed to help, moving stones, tying ropes, and trying everything he could until we got the car out. He was kind, patient, and clearly cared that we were okay. A couple of other FANTSTIC guests helped make the experience memorable too. Once we could relax, we loved the glamping site. It was clean, peaceful, beautifully designed, and had everything we needed. The BBQ dinner was delicious, the facilities were great, and there was even a little onsen for your feet. The atmosphere felt cozy and romantic. We came to ties campground for our honeymoon and are so grateful. Highly recommend it for the setting and the kind people behind it.

The location is beautiful, and there are so many nice amenities that the website doesn’t do Ties justice. The owners are kind and helpful. A very special place to stay, and I highly recommend it if you’re walking the Nakasendo trail.

A unique and amazing experience, and such a nice way to spend the evening after a hike. The owner was great, the campsites were very well equipped, the included food was delicious, and the property had amazing views.

The facilities were clean and thoughtfully set up, and everyone was so helpful. It’s a stunning, peaceful location and a delicious dinner, though remember to prebook the food. We stayed two nights and used the bus from Nagiso station to Magome, then walked back to the camp via Tsumago. A great way to walk the Nakasendo trail. Highly recommend staying here and booking in!

After a long day hiking the Nakasendo Trail, Ties Camp Ground was a perfect place to rest. The tent was super comfy, the food excellent, and the atmosphere relaxed. Huge thanks to Yoshio and Yuki, who made us feel right at home and added something special to an already perfect stay.
