Getting around was easy from here, with shops within walking distance and quick taxis available. There are two Family Marts nearby, plus a 7-11 a couple of blocks away. We’d stay at AB Hotel Nagoya again on our next visit. The staff were consistently courteous and helpful. Room service kept us stocked with towels and took away the trash. Our room felt a little cramped for relaxing and fitting souvenirs, but we managed by packing as we went. Breakfast was different from what a Westerner might expect, though my wife and I both enjoyed the range of Asian dishes. The sauna is split by gender onto different floors, and laundry is on the first floor.

AB Hotel? Seriously, this was the worst hotel I’ve seen. Staff from the lobby clerk up to the manager were unfriendly, lazy, and had bad attitudes. I felt they were discriminatory and war freak. It may be cheap, but it wasn’t worth it at all. No wonder they lowered the price. Good luck to the next customers unless the staff suddenly learn some kindness.
