Green Rich Hotel Nagoya Nishiki Artificial Hot Spring Futamata Yunohana

Breakfast had a nice mix of Japanese and Western choices, and the stay was lovely overall. For travelers watching their budget, this is a really good option. There was even a “nonsense” feature in the hotel, though it was just an artificial setup in a room. I’d stay here again next time I’m in Nagoya. Fingers crossed the price doesn’t go up after this review. 😅

There’s a buffet featuring Nagoya-meshi, and basic amenities are available at the counter, which came in handy when something was needed at short notice. The hotel is a short distance from Marunouchi Station, and being one street back from the main road kept the rooms quiet. It’s a business hotel, but there’s also a large shared bath alongside the baths in the guest rooms.

The rates are reasonable, and the rooms were spacious and clean. Staff were always ready to help. There’s laundry service, a public bath and a smoking lounge, plus free extras like pillows, towels, razors and battery chargers. It’s in the business district and has everything you need.

Reception held our bags after checkout, which was a huge help. We stayed just one night before heading to Ghibli Park, so we didn’t get to try the other amenities. The sheets and towels were clean and nice. With four of us it felt cramped, but opening the movable bathroom wall made the room feel less tight. December hotel options were very limited while I was trying to stay around $200, so I was pleasantly surprised by this place.
