Quite a few places around Nagoya are an easy walk from here.

We found lots of restaurants close by, including plenty of Chinese places, and there are also convenience stores and supermarkets nearby for groceries if you want to cook. Parking is available, as are shared bikes.

For the facilities I’d give it 7/10, convenience 7/10, the surroundings 6/10, service 5/10 and price 10/10. It’s a very affordable choice for a group trip. Check-in and checkout are self-service, so you don’t see staff in person, but replies through messaging apps were prompt and thorough. The area is fairly quiet, though it seems close to nightlife, so keep that in mind. There’s a fridge, TV, microwave, kitchen counter and a small living area, plus a washing machine and drying space on the roof. The bed’s sunken backrest made it uncomfortable to sleep on. No elevator, so hauling bags takes effort. Convenience stores, including 7-Eleven and FamilyMart, are within a five-minute walk, with food easy to find. The station is a bit far, which could be inconvenient with luggage.

The location worked well for our group of six, with a convenience store, parking and an izakaya close by. We all felt comfortable during the stay. I’ve used guesthouses like this many times, and the staff’s service stood out as especially good. My friends and I had a really fun trip, and I’d like to stay here again next time I visit Nagoya.
