Hotel Love

We stayed three nights and liked the place. The bath tub and room were bigger than at any other Japanese hotel we’ve stayed in. The only downside was that in my room, spiderwebs and several spiders made it hard to open the window shutters. Otherwise, not bad.

The room size was the best part: spacious, with a big bed, a large TV, and some interesting lights. It had the feel of a Japanese “love hotel,” though regular tourists were staying there too. There was a strange smell, the TV wasn’t smart and was limited to the hotel settings, and cleaning costs extra. The biggest catch is check-in at 8pm, or you pay extra to get in at 6pm. We forgot to check and arrived at 3pm, the usual check-in time, so we were surprised. If the price is right, it’s worth trying for the roomy space and novelty. I also accidentally bought 500 yen female panties, which was hilarious. Watch which buttons you press, haha!

My husband took me here after our wedding, and we stayed four nights. My butt was destroyed. I definitely recommend it.

We’d happily stay here again for the price and the overall experience. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped, with skincare products, karaoke, a massage chair, and more. Breakfast was good, and the extra food and drinks we ordered were decent too. The staff were nice, though we had a little trouble communicating in English. Looking closely, we did spot dusty corners and stains on the carpet, so it wasn’t spotless.
