The location is excellent for exploring Chinatown and Yokohama at different times of day. Metro access is also convenient, especially for trips to Narita via NE'X at Yokohama station. The place is described as a boutique hotel, but to me it felt more like a B&B without breakfast. And with little soundproofing and lively surroundings, it can be noisy until 2-3am. The listing says it sleeps 5-9 and suggests it's best for six, but four people with luggage already fill the space. You'll be choosing between sleeping, relaxing, and unpacking. There's no real living room: two bedrooms have floor beds, and there's another bedroom or very small sitting area plus a tiny open kitchen. It could work for one night with no more than four people if you want to avoid feeling cramped. You could technically fit nine for sleeping, but there'd be no room for anything else.

I stayed in room 2 on the second floor. The room was clean, and the location was great, though it's not the kind of place I'd suggest to someone looking for a luxury hotel. It was a room-only stay. There was just a shower, no bathtub, but the water pressure was fine. The hair dryer may vary by room, but mine had a really strong breeze, lol. It took a while to dry my hair, though it was manageable. I heard some noise from the stairs, but the other guests may have been considerate, since it was quiet at night. There were outlets all around, and the kettle in the small kitchen was clean.

The staff were very helpful and answered my questions politely, which made me feel at ease. The room had a living area where I could relax, and stepping outside put me right in the lively, exotic atmosphere of Chinatown. It was so convenient to enjoy delicious Chinese food and head straight back to the hotel afterward. I'd definitely like to stay here again on my next visit to Yokohama.

The room looked bigger in the photos than it was. We booked for our family of four, and although there were enough beds, there was barely space for everyone's belongings. The charging port above the bed was a nice touch. I wasn't completely dissatisfied, but I did wonder whether our room was the only one that hadn't been cleaned properly. The stairs felt a little steep, and cleanliness was disappointing. There was trash in the bin that wasn't ours, lots of hair and lint on the bed, and water stains in the kitchen and shower room. Maybe I'm being too sensitive, but it left me a bit uneasy. 😌💦

I had such a good time in Yokohama, which made this room all the more disappointing. The photos looked great, but walking in, my first thought was how small it was. It felt like a gloomy, dirty studio apartment, lol. There was a compact kitchen that seemed to take up space without being useful, and the sink was so poorly cleaned that I felt uncomfortable right away. A hair was stuck in the booklet map of the area. It made me wonder whether they had a cleaning guide or cleaned each room carefully. There were water stains on the windows, strange threads and lint on the carpet, and dust and black marks in parts of the small shower room. With no staff on site, asking for cleaning was a hassle. Wi-Fi worked, but there were very few outlets, or they were hidden, so charging was difficult anywhere except by the bed. About the reply to my review: I've been called a perpetrator so much that I wanted to add something. I wrote this while staying there, feeling disappointed and angry about the room, so I admit my wording may have been immature, and I'm sorry for that. But the things I described were real. I won't forget the hair in the room or the lint and clothing fibers on the carpet. There were also water stains in the kitchen and on the windows. I'm sorry I compared it to a regular hotel, but I still wish they'd removed that hair. I can't believe it was left there. I don't know how clean other guests found their rooms, and maybe the owner thought ours was clean. Google reviews can't be deleted, so I understand why you responded that way. I regret using insensitive words in anger, but I would have appreciated an apology about the hair. I don't know if you doubted my review, but I think the management could have handled it better. I hope things improve in the future. If you're unsure about booking, I think it's wise to avoid this place.
