Tabist MAYUDAMA CABIN

Everything was really neat, it had just opened, and the key amenities were there. I had a pleasant stay, apart from one thing: remember to take your key when you leave the room. Reception stops working after 23:00, and the bedroom door uses an electronic lock. I forgot my key on the bed when I went to shower, then came back late and couldn't get in. There was no staff to help, but luckily another guest was going out to the toilet and opened the door for me.

For a regular backpacker who's on business trips all year, this was unbelievably cheap, sparkling clean, and well organized. The photos are very accurate. Most capsule hotels I've seen are dirty, but this one was outstanding. Towels, toiletries, and room wear are free, and the open veranda viewing deck on the 3rd floor is a nice extra. My cabin was spacious and didn't feel like a capsule or a tomb at all. Best in Yokohama, best in Japan!

This is by far one of the cleanest capsule hotels I've stayed in in Japan. It's about a 5 minute walk from Kannai Station, with lots of restaurants, shops, and convenience stores nearby. There's even a drug store right in front, so snacks and drinks are easy to pick up. I'd definitely stay here again if I return to Yokohama.

I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. The place is extremely clean, the staff are friendly, and it's in a central, safe area. I enjoyed staying in Kannai so much that I extended my time at Mayudama Cabin. ❤️
