Hotel Keihan Nagoya

It’s so close to everything, and the room is spacious, which you don’t often get in Japan hotels. The breakfast buffet has traditional Japanese morning food, and you can go back for more if you want. I especially love that Calpis comes in different flavors every morning. I’ll definitely return!

The bed was good, and I liked how the room was laid out. The hotel seems fairly new, though the room isn't especially spacious. My main issue is the walk from the train station. There are plenty of restaurants nearby once you get there, so the distance is fine if you don't mind walking. With small kids, I wouldn't recommend it unless you take an Uber from Nagoya Station after arriving from the airport.

[Visiting from Australia] The service was exemplary, and there's a morning buffet. The rooms are definitely small, especially with three of us sharing one, but I'd still recommend staying here if you're travelling around Japan.

Getting to the subway exits is a decent walk, and the exits with escalators or lifts are farther away. That makes it harder after a few days for older people or anyone with weak legs. The service is strict and businesslike. Best not to ask for things that aren't included in the price, so the staff don't have to say no or ask for extra money, and you don't end up embarrassed.
