Mizuho Urban Hotel

There are lots of restaurants nearby, which is handy. The hotel itself is quiet and set away from downtown.

Breakfast was plain and didn't taste good. It ran from 7-9 am, but the white rice was gone after about an hour. The room felt dusty, and there wasn't an air purifier. It also took several minutes to get warm water in the shower, and the temperature kept shifting. The hairdryer barely blew any air, so even with my short hair I struggled to dry it. Overall, not a very good stay.

I was very happy with the room. My single room was spacious, much bigger than the hotels I've stayed at in Osaka before. The two letdowns were breakfast, which felt skimpy, and the lack of a large public bath. I had bread, but there was no rice or miso soup, and I like to unwind in a big bath, so having only the room's unit bath was a pain. The coffee and orange juice were delicious. If you want a filling breakfast, you might find it lacking.

Breakfast is complimentary, so I wasn't expecting much, and it was fine. For a bigger meal, Sukiya or Family Mart are options. The room had plenty of space and the unit bath was roomy, with clean drains that handled draining the hot water without overflowing. There was a slight smell on the floor when getting off the elevator, as other reviews mentioned. The lighting in the room was dim and there weren't many outlets, which was a shame. The front desk is small, but the service was good. This was my first stay. I parked at a nearby Family Mart, which seemed to be affiliated parking.
