Only 15 rooms make this a small, cosy place, with a modern and artsy feel. They bring you welcome tea and snacks, and breakfast comes as a course meal. It seems to live up to its 1 Michelin key rating. The unusual setting is a big part of the appeal: the hotel is inside the Nagoya Tower, a bit like staying in the Eiffel Tower. Service was great, and the staff did their best to help however they could. The main drawback for us was the language gap. Of the 5-6 staff we spoke with, only one could communicate well in English.

We were so glad to stay here for the Nagoya women’s marathon. The staff were great, and breakfast was delicious. The views were amazing, and being in this historic part of town made the stay a pleasure.

The staff and breakfast made the hotel stay special too. Thanks to Kano for the warm welcome back, and for the lovely note in our room. Breakfast was among the best we've had, with Japanese and Western choices made from fresh, local ingredients and served impeccably. This was our 5th trip to Japan, and we'd stayed in some wonderful hotels, including a 5 star Ryokan in Tokyo, but The Tower Hotel Nagoya was our best stay and experience yet. The big reason I'll remember the service is what happened after we left. We realized in Fukuoka, 4 hours from Nagoya on a Shinkansen, that we'd left valuables in our room safe. The hotel was closed for monthly Wednesday maintenance, so we emailed in a panic. The Manager returned to the hotel, opened the safe, retrieved our things, and sent a photo. We booked a train back for early the next morning. He asked for the Shinkansen time, car, and seat numbers, then met us when it arrived. Yasunori OGUSHI, Manager of The Tower Hotel, was waiting at our car. He returned our valuables, packed safely in a bag, and gave us another bag of treats for the ride: Champagne on ice, cups, water, cheese, cabanossi, crackers, nuts, chips, and sweets. I've never experienced service so kind and remarkable. What a fantastic Manager! Thank you, Yasunori. We'd already had a memorable visit last year, and this was a return trip. The location is excellent, and the staff were incredible.

We first came in 2023 and were amazed. When we returned in July, it was even better. The setting is a former television tower, and the place feels majestic. There are only a few rooms, with a clean, distinctive mix of modern and industrial decor that still feels arty. The welcome goods and drinks were ravishing, and the Japanese breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I've had in at least 10 years. The location is perfect, the staff are wonderfully efficient, and the details show real refinement. It's a unique, almost secret and magical place. Just wow, absolutely recommend it.

A few things were unusual for a hotel this luxurious. When we tried to pay for wine, they wouldn't accept our MasterCard, even though it had worked everywhere else in Japan. We don't know what caused it, and luckily we had our last cash with us, but foreigners may want to keep this in mind. The stay itself offered privacy, comfort, and plenty of care. The room was unusually large, with a comfortable bed, minibar, and quality bathroom products and cosmetics. There was a small welcome treat, Apple TV, excellent soundproofing, and a unique view. We also had a private entrance to the lookout and terrace, with no tourists there. The Japanese-style breakfast was spectacular, served privately with a wonderful view and attentive service. If you like privacy and quality, this place has a truly unique approach to each guest and feels like a little piece of paradise.
