Vessel Inn Sakae Station

The room is small, as is common in cities, but the location is fantastic. There’s a convenience store on level 1, good restaurants all around, and Sakae station is an easy walk away. Use exit 8 if you need the escalator or lift. The staff were friendly and communicated well, the Wi-Fi was good, and the instructions were clear. At check-in, they discussed the room-cleaning schedule, and the amenities bar meant I could take only what I needed. For me, this is the best value hotel I’ve stayed in in Japan. I’ll look out for vessel inn hotels again when I return.

Parking in the lift was no problem, even with a big car. The rooms are comfortable, and there’s an area with free drinks until 11pm. The neighborhood stays busy late, so you can walk around at night with plenty going on.

The rooms are tiny. I ended up with scratches and bruises even though I’m not a big person. Still, the bed and amenities were comfortable, and breakfast was great, with plenty of choice and good quality and taste. The elevator was a bit slow. The hotel is just steps from Donki (Don Quijote) and a station exit.

My family spent three days here and we were very pleased. The breakfast was better than we expected, both in quality and variety. The location was very convenient, close to everything we needed. We especially want to recognize Murase, who was professional and helpful. He answered our questions clearly and patiently sorted out our issues, which made the stay more comfortable.
