The staff were very friendly, and I liked the cosy common room. This is a nice hostel near the beach and not too far from central Naha. The rooms and bathroom were convenient, with soap provided. There are several holes in the windows and walls, though, and bugs such as cockroaches could get through. Even so, it offers pretty good value for the price.
The beach is a one-minute walk away, and having a supermarket nearby was a highlight. The house looks a little old, but the bed was clean and really comfortable. We had our own bathroom in the dorm, and the downstairs shower was handy for rinsing off after swimming. The owner was super kind, and the indoor smoking room was convenient too.
I spent a month at this hostel, and it felt like home. The staff are lovely, and the owner Juu San is great. There's a comfortable, roomy living room, a kitchen with everything equipped and two refrigerators, and a bathroom in the room. It's only 100 meters from Naha beach and 100 meters from a very large supermarket, and close enough to the center that you can get everywhere on foot. Super recommended, with a really good quality-price ratio.
The location is pretty good, with nice places nearby and a supermarket close enough to cover what seems like all your daily needs. The staff are nice, but the hostel itself is very minimalistic, and the Wi-Fi feels really slow, at least in the common area. It's cheap, but its standards are below other hostels in the same price range. Not terrible, just not especially good for what you pay.
I liked the Japan feel, the low price and the nice staff. The facilities are old and sometimes don't work, and the place isn't comfortable.
