Street facing rooms can be noisy all night, so bring earplugs. Partygoers below are being driven home, often passed out, and they seem to take all the available taxis. If you’ve got an early flight, you may not be able to get one from the hotel and might need to walk to the monorail station instead.
The free Okinawan Soba they gave me was good, to be fair. I only stayed because my wife needed to redeem her points before the end of the year. The room was dirty, with dried urine left by the previous guest and at least a centimeter of lint and dust on the windows. The air was dry and smoky, probably from salary men smoking in their rooms, and I got sick after staying there. You won’t need an alarm clock: yelling from drunk men fighting outside will wake you at sunrise. The place is surrounded by pimps and clubs of dubious reputation. If you have children, I’d make sure to stay away.
The twin room was small and uncomfortable, and the area around it was noisy. It cost about USD 90, which really sucked.
It’s old, dirty, and small, and sits in the red light district.
There’s just one elevator, so the wait can be long.
