Hotel Gracery Naha

A comfortable, convenient place to stay, and the Okinawa-style breakfast was lovely. It changes every day. I'd like it even more if they offered boiled or fried eggs.

The rooms were small but very clean, and breakfast was a good buffet for the price. The staff were nice. If you find a good rate, it works well for a short stay. It's a popular chain, too, since the airport immigration staff knew it. I mainly picked it for convenience. It's a short walk from monorail stop #7 and very close to the bus terminal down the street. I needed to be near the bus stop for the local marathon. The hotel is right on the main dori, so the view isn't much, though I did have a corner view of the street below.

The location is right on the shopping street, with a Ryubo department store nearby. Take a day to explore the surrounding area. Toiletries are available each day beside the reception counter, and there are dipping coffee and tea bags. The layout has a separate toilet bowl, a basin outside the bathroom, and the place to hang clothes is right by the entrance. The bathroom was clean and had a big bathtub, but nowhere to hang a towel or clothes. The woody design and carpet make the room look old. Updating it would make the hotel more comfortable.

The rooms were clean, and the location puts you right in the middle of things. The staff were super nice, and getting Orion beer at check-in was a nice surprise. I'd stay again.
