The building felt sketchy, especially the stairway, and as a solo woman I didn’t feel as safe as I wanted. There were lots of random things in the ceiling, possibly cameras. The room was very small and felt dirty. The toilet had no lid, so flushing sprays everything around, and the bathroom was small too. The heating was weird and hard to control, and the room got really wet when it was on. You have to keep the door closed while showering or the steam sets off the alarm. I spent most of my stay trying to touch as few surfaces as possible. I’d never stay here again. I hadn’t realized the rooms were smoking rooms, and was really upset when I walked in to the smell of cigarrette smoke. I couldn’t feel clean with that nasty smell. If you don’t mind that, it’s fine for a budget hotel, but be aware there are no non-smoking rooms!!! 😡 I asked to switch to a non-smoking room, but the guy at the front said no, so I assumed there weren’t any.

The room was okay and the location was good, but the service was absolutely terrible. A counter staff member was rude, and one person lied, saying I could leave my luggage after checkout. When I checked out, another staff member told me that wasn’t possible. This is the first hotel I’ve seen without post-checkout luggage storage, even backpacker hostels have it. Not recommended.

The bus stop is literally outside, the tourist info center is across the road, and the coast and shops are an easy walk away. The monorail station is near, though not especially close, and it’s a reasonable walk for most people with bags. The monorail goes straight to the airport, which was convenient. The entrance has stairs, with no obvious way in without using them. I noticed that was true of most places in Naha, so I assume it may have to do with flooding or the weather. Either way, being disabled with heavy bags was difficult. Like many livemax hotels in Japan, the Budget one in Naha has good and bad points. The rooms are smaller, but clean and comfy, with good facilities. Wifi is slow and can be frustrating, the staff are pleasant, and the cost is on the lower side. This hotel seemed older than most Livemax I’ve stayed at. The corridors showed their age, though it wasn’t noticeable once inside the room. If you can manage the stairs, it’s a good place to stay, and I recommend it for your Naha trip.

There was little to no parking, so I had to use paid parking a block away. The room smelled of smoke and felt soo dirty. The place seemed super dodgy, and it felt like there were bugs on the bed or something. I felt disgusting and wouldn’t stay again even if it were free, despite the cheap price. The toilet has no lid, so yours and other waste paticles are bound yo be on the floor. There are no amenities etc.

At best, my stay here was gross. There was no housekeeping and no trash pickup during the stay. To get anything clean, I had to take my soiled towels to the front desk and swap them for clean ones. There are hidden cameras in the room, and the peephole has no cover. It’s not worth the hassle they put you through. Just pay a little more somewhere else and get treated like a person.
