Kukuru house 2

The room was much nicer than I expected for a budget stay. It was laid out well, and the separate bathroom and toilet were both very clean. My friend and I each had a comfortable double bed. With four people, opening all the suitcases at once would be tough, but for Okinawa room sizes, this was excellent. It’s also right by the prefectural government building, handy for the monorail, buses, and Klook. We loved staying here!

The bathroom fan also works as a dryer, which came in handy during the heavy rain. It dried my clothes and shoes quickly. The room is on the small side but new, and having tableware and laundry detergent was useful. Kukuru House has no staff on site, but their Line LINE service was quick to respond and did its best to help with my requests. Kencho-mae Station on the Okinawa Monorail is very close, as are supermarkets and convenience stores. A very good stay, highly recommend.

The room was tiny, I couldn’t open my suitcase, and the bed was much too soft. It really spoiled my mood on the trip. After paying by card for my Booking.com reservation, I was surprised by a cleaning fee of over NT$1,000. I felt cheated since the actual accommodation cost was far below the price shown on the site. Poor quality for what it cost. I won’t stay here again.

There’s plenty of space, the soundproofing is good, and I slept well at night. The place has all the facilities you need. Its location is handy too, close to the county government building and Kokusai Street. There’s a supermarket in the department store across the road, with a convenience store and Daikoku Pharmacy behind it.
