Le Soleil Asato

For a solo trip, this place worked pretty well. The single room had what I needed, and the laundry and dryer were really handy. There isn't an elevator, but the stairs are manageable. It was a little dark at night, and the short uphill walk back left me a bit out of breath. I didn't spot a hairdryer, and I couldn't be bothered to ask.

The B&B was slow to answer my messages, and the whole experience felt awful. I asked questions because I needed help, but they didn't answer directly, only saying they'd sent a message. If they had seen it, why ask me to look for it? I felt ignored after paying. They only booked four nights, though they stayed three, and my questions didn't get a response until after 6 PM on the second night.

The room comes with a washing machine, detergent, and dryer, which meant I could use them as much as I needed during the hot Okinawan summer. The location is a bit uphill, though. Replies were slow, and I was shocked that there was only one day's worth of towels.

I really liked this Japanese-style inn. It's compact but has enough room to relax and is well equipped. Replies from the inn were quick, and the monorail station is very close.
