The rooms are fine for the price, but staff manage multiple properties and aren’t always around. If you arrive outside their limited hours, you can end up waiting 20 to 50 minutes just to get your key, even though they tell you someone will be there in 10 to 15 minutes. Apparently, 10 minutes means anywhere from twice to four times that long. Mr Kinjo in Sakaemachi seems to be the exception, with someone at the front desk at least until midnight.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, but service is very limited. For clean towels and things like that, you have to take your used ones to the small office yourself.

The room was clean and the location worked well. The Wi-Fi was a bit slow, and there weren't any plates or cutlery.

A great place to stay. It was a little tricky to find by car, though getting there on foot was easy enough.
