Stella Resort - Hostel

It's cheap, but the air-conditioning costs extra, so bring your wallet unless you want to sleep in a sauna. I found used contact lenses under the pillow, and it seemed like I was sleeping on sheets left by previous guests. The bathroom didn't appeal to me either. Honestly, the McDonald's 300 meters away was more inviting.

The rooms are quite nice, but the whole kitchen is just a microwave. Don't expect to cook meals here.

Cheap was the only good thing. The room was dirty all over, smelled and looked moldy, and the sheets looked like they hadn't been changed in ages. My partner saw and smelled it and had to book somewhere else. It was also very hot, with strange people around, and those odd illuminated paper walls stayed lit after the lights were switched off.

Inside, it was very quiet at night, with no parties or other noisy staff after 9 p.m. The common room runs from 9 to 21:00, which may be part of why. I had a small twin room, a good size for the price. There isn't a kitchen, just a microwave, electric kettle, and fridge, not even a proper knife. It's a nice place if you want little interaction with other people and a peaceful night's sleep.
