Furano Resort Orika

The room was so hot, and the day-shift receptionist didn't do anything to fix it, just kept saying it was central air conditioning. Yet we felt cool as soon as we stepped outside. I was 30 minutes late checking out and they kept pushing me to leave. Apart from that, everything else was fine, especially breakfast and the night-shift and restaurant staff. The food and the view were excellent.

I stayed here while snowboarding at Furano Ski Resort, and of all the luxury hotels I've tried in Hokkaido, this one stands out as the best. The views change with the seasons: flower fields and the Daisetsu Mountain Range and Tokachi Mountain Range in summer, then quiet, beautiful snow-covered scenery in winter. The hot springs, sauna, lobby, room, views, full-course meal, and staff service all felt polished and just right. Furano Hotel and Furano Prince are other options, but I'd definitely recommend this one for a Furano visit. You'll have a great time.

The staff were the best, and the place had a relaxing atmosphere with really luxurious food. Since it was my wife's birthday, they gave us a glass of wine and a candle. Their own wine also went perfectly with the meal. The spacious public bath was another highlight. This hotel is simply wonderful. Ten stars.

The room gave us nothing to complain about, and the team's little touches made the stay feel special. They even gave us a note about the weather for the next few days, which really touched us and felt like part of the hotel's charm. From the time we arrived, the staff were warm and attentive. We don't speak English very well and are only just starting to learn Japanese, but they went out of their way to communicate and guide us. The restaurant was incredible, with congratulations due to the chef and the whole team. Eating Wagyu beef cheek in red wine sauce while a pianist played Debussy was priceless and so romantic. The dishes and service had such finesse and class.
