We booked late and could only stay one night, but I'm really glad we went. From the Japanese room, we could see the ocean right from bed, which felt special. The photos made me think the room, especially the bathroom, might be old, but that wasn't how it looked in person. Everything was modern and clean, with plenty of natural light and even a skylight in the bathroom. Our host kindly arranged a very early breakfast since we had to check out at 6am. A lovely retreat with warm local Okinawa hospitality.

We come here with the kids in summer, and we all enjoy the lovely room and relaxing surroundings. The service is great, and breakfast is cute and tastes good. Even at the summer price, we think it's worth it. My daughter wants to stay again on our next visit.

Okinawa has lots of tempting places to stay, but I'd recommend this one to anyone visiting. It isn't as fancy as the chain hotels along the coast, though it gives you a genuine peek at the island's calm, everyday life.
