Kariyushi Condominium Resort Nanjo ATELIER HYAKUNA

We stayed four people for two days and one night at the end of January. The owner was very kind, and the interior was stylish and thoughtfully designed. Check-in had a few hiccups, but the staff member handled them politely and quickly, so we enjoyed our stay without any trouble. We’d definitely like to stay again if we get the chance.

The neighborhood was quiet, and Miibaru Beach was close by, so I even went on a glass boat. The view was fantastic, and the accommodation turned out as good as I’d hoped, though I was nervous at first because there were no reviews. I got bitten by so many mosquitoes right after arriving that I had to buy repellent and mosquito coils. As someone very particular about cleanliness, I asked about a small cleanliness issue, and they came to fix it even though it was late. I was grateful and gave them Korean soju. The next day they apologized and gave me wine, which really touched me. I had a great rest, thank you! I gave four stars because I wish they’d paid a bit more attention to cleanliness.

The bedding had a damp, musty smell that was really unpleasant, and the kitchen chopsticks were bent. That was a shame, because the environment, room design, and view were all wonderful. Everything else was great.

The interior was clean, but there were lots of bugs, no electric rice cooker, and the induction cooktop didn’t work. The check-in spot and the supermarkets and shops were all far away.
