The station is very close, which made this handy for a quick overnight stop. The room is tiny, and the beds are hard as a table, so bring an air mattress if you're sensitive to that. Breakfast was decent, though mostly Japanese food.

The public bath was well kept and really relaxing. JR Nara Station's east exit is just a two-minute walk away, so this works well if comfort and easy access are what you're after.

For the price, this is really good value, even though it doesn't have as many amenities as some other hotels. Breakfast comes with the stay and was pretty decent. There are also lots of popular places to eat within a ten-minute walk, and the station is only two minutes away on foot.

The coin laundry was especially useful, with three washing machines and dryers. I also liked the onsen, and the free breakfast was decent. Rooms and amenities are reasonable for the price, and the location is a big part of the appeal.

The price is right and the location's good, but the Wi-Fi is awful. I haven't had a connection this slow since dial-up, possibly the worst I've ever encountered. For a business hotel in 2025, they should understand that work happens online and guests need proper internet speeds.
