The apartment was lovely, quiet, and comfortable, and the staff were very attentive. It’s about a 10-minute walk from both the station and central Nara. Thank you so much.

A nice B&B within walking distance of Nara park, with friendly staff. :)

A central spot, with lots of sights you can walk to nearby.

The rooftop is really nice, though the picnic table was worn out and there was only one bench. The area is quiet, the location is good, and the place is otherwise well equipped. Still, arriving was a letdown: the hallway smelled of cigarettes, and there was a cockroach in the kitchen area, plus several dead ones under the sink. There’s no sink in the shower room, so you have to use the kitchen sink. Storage and dish racks hang above it, making it awkward to wash up. I bumped my head on them several times.

We had a really comfortable stay in a peaceful neighborhood, close to a lovely river lined with cherry trees.
