The hotel is very near Hokodate JR station, so it’s easy to bring your luggage over, and there’s a convenient shop right next door. The Japanese-style bedrooms were neat, tidy, clean, and very spacious. The male and female staff were friendly, helpful, and polite, and could converse in English. Breakfast was buffet style with tasty Western and Japanese options.

The location is really good, very close to Hakodate Station and the morning market. Checkout is at 10am, which felt so abnormal to me, and I was charged 3000 Yen for checking out at 12pm.

A male staff member was very helpful and speaks great English. It’s great for anyone just looking for a room to stay in without needing anything fancy. The WiFi is weak in the end room, though.
