The room and shared areas were clean and really nice. There was everything I needed, including a washer and dryer at no extra cost. The location is handy for Nara main station, and checking in and out was easy. I’d recommend it.

Hi, could you let me know if there’s a hair dryer I can borrow? I’ll be staying here. I’ll update my review once I hear back. Thanks!

If you’re after an immersive sound experience, this place has you covered. Snoring from next door, tapping overhead during the night, and plumbing sounds from upstairs all come through loud and clear. Then there’s the twin bunk bed, where you get to squeeze yourself in for the full experience. Hard to forget, for sure.

I had a very bad experience. The listing said I could cancel for free through September 16 after booking on September 12, but when I cancelled on the 16th, I didn’t receive a refund. It also advertised luggage storage. Once I’d booked, though, they emailed to say they don’t store luggage. I felt the online information was misleading.

Everything was great, but I picked a bad time to visit. There was decorating going on, and it smelled bad.
