Private House Kanade

There’s no dryer in the accommodation, and the bathroom doesn’t have a clothes-drying function either. I also wish the landlord had shared a photo showing where to park, instead of only sending a Google link. Still, the house was clean, parking was free, and Lawson is very close. It was a great stay overall, and I’d definitely come back on my next visit to Nara.

We slept well: the bed was roomy, and it was quiet and dark at night. The two-story house also gave us privacy, and it felt like somewhere we could stay longer, with a kitchen and a home-like feel. My family and I were there for one night, and it felt like good value. We appreciated the amenities, including mineral water for each of us, toothbrushes, lotion, milk, and towels. The bath could be reheated, which helped in the cold winter. We used the private parking, though the station is only about a five-minute walk away, so a car isn't necessary. Naramachi and the temples were convenient for sightseeing too. Since it's a guesthouse, you need to bring pajamas and check yourself in. If we'd known that ahead of time, my parents, who are in their 60s, could have settled in more comfortably. Thanks for the hospitality.
