Hotel Festa (Adult Only)

I had to leave in the middle of the night, even though I'd paid to stay overnight. The first-floor room in the connected building was freezing, and setting the AC to 28 degrees did nothing to warm it up. The bathroom was just as cold. I tried to have a bath, but the water only got lukewarm. I was nearly coming down with a cold by then. Worst stay.

We stayed in room 304. The grounds have a pretty steep downhill section, so large cars might have trouble. Finding the turns can be tricky too, and you'll want navigation. The bathtub was fine for someone under 170 cm. The facilities had a few shortcomings, and the freezer compartment really should be fixed before summer. Still, if you think of it as a business hotel, 5,000 yen on Wednesday, May 15th, including two free drinks per person, seemed like a good deal. If arriving early, I'd pick a room at the entrance panel, pay the accommodation fee using the panel inside, then head out for food or shopping.

The cost for what you get is probably the best around here. Rooms are spacious, but they get cold in winter, which is a shame. The cottage-style rooms do have gas fan heaters. Weekends lately are often fully booked. One thing to know: daylight pours straight into room 305 in the main building, so you can't darken it during the day.

It's an older building, but generally kept clean and in decent shape. A short visit, around two hours I think, is priced reasonably. Some rooms have bath faucets that are broken and awkward to use, though hot water still comes through.
