Bulls Camp

It was hard to figure out where the individual sites were. The toilets and showers, though, were kept in good condition, and the campsite staff were really nice. The location is convenient, with houses next door.

You can leave your trash there instead of taking it home. Remember that checkout is at 10:00 AM. Bringing a light from home is a good idea, especially if you're having a BBQ. There are lots of insects in the room, so if you arrive early, it's worth checking around.

I had a really good time here. The three solo camping sites each have an AC outlet, though some charger plugs might not fit the outdoor sockets. They lent me an extension cord, so it was fine. Firewood is available at an unmanned stand, and you can restock as much as you like. The free showers were clean and had shampoo and other toiletries. My main disappointment was the setting. It's on a side road off a bypass, though traffic noise wasn't an issue. Mt. Fuji isn't visible, and Lake Kawaguchi is a long way off, so don't expect that classic feeling of camping in Yamanashi. Still, the facilities themselves were a perfect 100 points.

No Mt. Fuji view here, unfortunately, but the campsite is comfortable and well equipped. It's small, so there aren't many people around, which makes it pleasant. And pets are welcome! 🥰
