The room was very big and clean, and parking was free. It’s close to the river that connects to the sea. My only gripe was having to go to the main room to get hot water, since there wasn’t a hot water flask in the room. Otherwise, it was all great.

I appreciated the bread at breakfast. I chose this place for a trip to Otsuka Museum of Art because there aren’t many places to stay in the area. The shower was a real hassle: it took a long time to heat up, and when I filled the tub, the water went cold halfway through. Sometimes the shower wouldn’t get hot enough unless the water pressure was good. Pajamas, toothbrushes, and similar amenities aren’t provided, so bring your own or expect to buy or rent them. Check what’s available in advance.

I stay here often when I visit Tokushima. It’s popular with families, with separate bathrooms and toilets and rooms that are surprisingly spacious. Restaurants are nearby, and there’s a supermarket a short drive away, so getting around for meals and supplies is convenient.
