We tried to book again after finishing our henro and returning to Ryozenji, but they were full. I'd happily stay here again if I were anywhere near Tokushima. Before the pilgrimage, the hosts welcomed us warmly, took our details, arranged our dinner and breakfast times, and helped us to our room. It was our first time sleeping on tatami, and everything was in good shape with comfortable futons. I made the mistake of ordering the big dinner. When they say big, they mean huge. I can't remember how many dishes there were, but it was a lot, and every one was freshly made and carefully prepared down to the smallest detail.
