The hotel is pretty quiet, and its entrance is on the side of the building, so it's easy to miss. I came for a day trip and was pleasantly surprised by the bath. Admission was 1500 yen, and they gave me a cute little towel and bag even as a day visitor. The bathing area was quiet, with most people staying overnight. There are three baths, two indoors and one outside. The outdoor one had a wonderful view. The outdoor bath and large indoor bath have simple acidic water, which seems unusual for the area, and there's also a sulfur bath. All the water felt on the cool side, maybe around 38 degrees. Definitely worth a visit.

I went around 6pm and used the onsen for the day. I really liked the white water, and the staff were very nice. There’s parking near the hotel, which made stopping by for a day soak convenient.

The outdoor bath has a great view. Definitely worth a visit.

The views from this high-up spot are fantastic, and there are even two chairs set near the edge where you can cool off after a soak. The outdoor bath is small, maybe room for four, but the indoor baths are fairly spacious, with hotter water up front, a comfortable-temperature pool, and one you can lie down in. The water comes straight from Shikanoyu, and the cloudy sulfur spring was wonderful. I visited around noon in late January 2026. It was fairly quiet, perhaps because prices are high and the place isn't widely known. There’s no sauna, which is a shame, and I heard the women’s bath doesn’t have one either. Still, I haven’t found this kind of refreshing feeling elsewhere. The temperature was managed carefully, service was good, and the other guests seemed considerate.

I really enjoyed the hot spring, but on my way out a staff member told me visits are limited to two hours. Usually there’s an extra charge, though they let it go this time. I hadn’t known about the limit and wish someone had explained it at reception. I left feeling awful after such a nice soak.
