I went in mid-February. The bathhouse was so cold that I couldn't even get into the bath. I get that they ventilate to prevent sulfur gas poisoning, but could they take other steps too? The changing rooms were freezing as well. Are they trying to make guests catch colds? I was also worried about hygiene because the bath was so dirty. The plentiful amenities and quick-drying Refa hair dryer were the only good parts. As others have said, the food was delicious, but the bath was awful. The mattress in my room was so thin I couldn't sleep, either. It seemed cheap for somewhere that accepts dogs, but it was still Livmax quality. I wouldn't recommend coming in winter, and I imagine the bugs are bad in summer, so I wouldn't recommend it at all.

Our dog got just as much attention as we did, from the welcome through to the meal, which had us smiling without even realizing it. The rooms were clean, and the food was delicious and generous. We left feeling happy, maybe a little overfull. Guests need to bring their own dog food. The sulfur bath left our skin smooth. We tried the family bath, and it was the hottest one I've ever been in, lol. They said we could add cold water to adjust it. There's a large public bath but no open-air bath. We also enjoyed having table tennis and indoor and outdoor dog runs. Dogs can walk on a leash inside the hotel. There's a policy about compensation for accidents in the room, but basically dogs can be out of their cages. The tatami is specially made, so we felt comfortable spending time together with our dog. Thank you, Rib!
The private baths where we could soak with our dog were great, and the sulfur hot springs were hot and amazing. My wife did mention that the women's bath was lukewarm and didn't warm her up at all. I wish they'd adjusted the water flow or swapped the men's and women's baths between morning and evening. We stayed with our dog and had breakfast and dinner included. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it.
The hot spring was lovely and helped us unwind, and we made a great family memory playing table tennis in our free time. Our room was spacious and airy, so all four of us could relax with our dog. We also had two indoor dog runs, which meant our dog could play whatever the weather. Every dish was delicious, and the staff were so polite and attentive that we were comfortable throughout our stay. Everyone had a wonderful holiday. My family said, "We definitely want to come back again." Thanks for such a lovely time. We'd love to visit again!
The hot spring was a milky sulfur spring at just the right temperature. I'd seen reviews calling it lukewarm, but that wasn't our experience. An open-air bath would have been nice, though. The meal was tasty and filling, and the dishes and presentation were excellent. We stayed as a couple with our medium-sized dog, a Sheltie, on Tuesday, February 24, 2026. The Japanese-style room was 21 square meters with 8 tatami mats and a roomy veranda. The veranda had tatami too, which made the room feel even more spacious. The place sits at an altitude of 738 meters and was a little hard to find. The price seemed so low that we were a bit concerned, but we ended up very satisfied. It may change with the season and day of the week, but we'll definitely stay again.
