2026/01/01 We started the year at the dinner hall again. The full-course meal was wonderful, all beautifully presented. The sauces and dressings were homemade too, and the hot dishes arrived warm while the cold desserts stayed cool. The kind husband and wife chefs had clearly put a lot of care into everything. People love the rose bath, but I prefer the cypress one. After working hard all year, having that big bath to myself was such a treat. Thanks again for looking after us. I booked our next visit before heading home. Wow, it’s just as lovely!

It took me a while to find the place, but the pension was really nice. I had a chance to try the rose bath just before it closed, and it was amazing. The food was all delicious and filling, and I enjoyed the yuzu sake so much that I bought some from the liquor store they recommended on my way home. It was quiet and relaxing. I’d like to visit again.

The owners were so kind and attentive, and the rose bath they’re known for made a lovely memory for us. We really enjoyed both dinner and breakfast. We’d love to come back next time we’re in Nasu.

The meal was a real highlight: the homemade jams and dressings, local vegetables, fish, and fillet were all delicious. I also loved the rose bath, with roses floating in the water. The pure white Western-style building has a nostalgic feel that’s refreshing among all the stylish places around these days. When I drove off after checkout, the owner’s wife came out and bowed deeply. That small-hotel hospitality really stayed with me.

I especially liked the cypress bath. Since it’s private, I could soak as long as I wanted, and there are two kinds of baths to choose from. Meals were carefully prepared course dishes with fresh vegetables, and tasted great. The spacious dining area has stained glass that changes color with the sunlight. The place is very reasonably priced, clean, and well cared for. Even the little handmade pieces, like paper cuttings and pressed flowers in frames, feel thoughtfully done. The owner and his wife are warm and welcoming, and made me want to come back.
