I had to cancel because Expedia showed three rooms, while the property said I only had one. It’s in the middle of nowhere, and they never replied when I asked them to confirm the booking. There was no way my family of seven could fit in one of those rabbit cages. Then, even though the mix-up was with their system and had nothing to do with me, they refused to refund my money. I’d avoid this place. They were dishonest and incompetent.

Room 5 made things easy, since it was near the laundry, vending machine, and front desk. The staff were kind and got me a USB charger right away when I needed one. I booked Hotel R9 The Yard on Agoda for much less than the other options, and the container-style room turned out to be a pleasant surprise. It felt like that well-known business hotel *wink*, but at a lower price. I enjoyed my stay and would book here again. Thanks to Hotel R9 The Yard and Agoda for a great deal! ╰(*´︶`*)╯♡

There are plenty of conbini and restaurants within 5 km, and the hotel is about 5 minutes from the Tohoku Expressway (E4) interchange. Parking was plentiful and close to my room. The laundry area was clean and well kept, with washer and dryer directions in several languages. The front desk staff did a great job helping me check in and out. I’d use this R9 again, as well as other Hotel R9 locations.

After a long day riding and sightseeing, this cosy place surrounded by nature was a comfortable spot to unwind. The container-style accommodation has a modern feel, and made for a unique stay tonight. 🌿🏍️✨
