I stayed here for a concert in Sendai, and it was a relaxing, convenient place. I got permission to park before checking in, and Tatekoshi Station was about a 10-minute walk, so getting into downtown Sendai was easy. My friend checked in earlier and enjoyed the lobby welcome bar while we were out drinking in Sendai. The breakfast selection wasn’t huge, but the food was tasty and health-focused. The compact room worked well, with a small sofa and a table that had storage built in. I was on the same floor as the large public bath, an unexpected bonus that made it easy to use. It was nearby, but still a nice change of pace.

The location was inconvenient for meals, with very few restaurants nearby and no dining area or izakaya at the hotel. During Golden Week the price was high, and given the room, bath temperature, and service, the value was extremely poor. I won’t be back. We were looking forward to the hot spring as a family, but at 43°C it was far too hot to stay in for more than a few minutes. The children couldn’t get in at all. The “Beauty Bath” and “Handsome Man Bath” names sounded impressive, but the bath didn’t work for us as a public bath. The changing-room lockers were broken and unusable, which also raised concerns about maintenance. Even though the hotel was fully booked, the bath temperature and facilities fell short. I’d have felt much more relaxed at a nearby public bathhouse. The business hotel was new and clean, and I’d had high expectations for its hot spring, but it didn’t deliver the satisfaction I expected for the price. Three of us shared an extremely small room, and one person had to use the sofa bed. Its mattress shifted around and felt unstable and very uncomfortable, making my back pain worse. There was no desk, and the lack of space made it hard to relax.

I was on a solo business trip and got upgraded to a ladies’ room. The ReFa shower head and hair dryer were a nice surprise, and the beauty mirror and hair iron seemed really convenient for women. The front desk staff were friendly and made a good impression. As expected at a Super Hotel, there was a welcome bar with lots of drinks and juices. There’s just one elevator, so it can get busy, but having a microwave on every floor was handy. The hotel is right off the Sendai Airport Interchange, with a large, easy-to-use parking lot. There are supermarkets, convenience stores, and restaurants nearby, so I wasn’t inconvenienced. At check-in they said breakfast would stop once the food ran out, to prevent waste, which made me a little uneasy. It was a weekday, but the hotel seemed full. I arrived early and still found the selection a bit limited. It was free, though, so I was grateful.
